- Integrity
Do the right thing even when nobody is watching.
- Actions
Actions have consequences.
- Careful
It is better to be careful than fast.
- People
Don’t paint pictures of people in your head and interpret those pictures. Instead, interpret the original.
- Victory
Hollow victories are worse than losing. A hollow victory is a lie that betrays your effort and those competing against you. Losses are a truth that you can work harder, that you can do better, and when you do winning becomes second to victory. Your greatest foe is yourself.
- Smart
Smart is such a lazy word. It drowns out the magnitude of devoted time put forth by intelligent people and makes excuses for those who lie to themselves about the limits of their effort.
- History
You can learn by reading the history of others or by waiting to write your own. As grandma and grandpa have told me many times, don’t let life teach you, life is a cruel teacher. Read, watch, listen to history, his story, her story, so that you can learn how to avoid the follies of human nature.
- Duty
Duty means doing what is right. Sometimes it means you do something even if you don’t want to. If you are lucky, those two are the same. And if they aren’t you do what is right because you are supposed to.
- Honor
Honor can seem like a silly idea when you don’t understand it. However, when you lose it, you will be the only person that isn’t laughing.
- Solutions
Money is the cheapest solution to any problem.
- Going forward
“The windshield is bigger than the rearview mirror for a reason. Because what’s in front of you is so much more important that what’s behind you.”

- Dance
Dance like nobody is watching.
- Wake Up
Every morning,
You have two choices:
Continue to sleep with your dreams
Wake up and chase them
- Being tough
Don’t ever pretend to be weak. The only time you should pretend is when you are scared, then you can pretend to be tough.
- Happiness
The grass is greener where you water it.
- Wounds
The wound is where the light enters you.
